Not to be confused with Irish actor Charles Farrell who died in 1988.
Biography
Enjoyed a successful screen partnership with Janet Gaynor in a series of popular romantic films of the late 1920s and early 30s. Later mayor of Palm Springs and played Gale Storm's dapper father on the popular TV series "My Little Margie" (1952-55).
